Happy 4th Year SHINee ♥
You guys are the first ‘official’ group I’ve stanned tbqh. I never thought that you guys would play such an important role in my life, or rather, huge importance. From someone who knows nothing about SHINee, slowly progressing till i can recognise who sings which part of the song, the lyrics/pronunciation. And because of you guys, i’ve started to learn simple korean. Even though i’m not good at it, i would try my best because you are worth everything of me.
Hello baby made me fall into the fandom. Seeing your caring, loving, humourous and the realest side of you all… How could i not stan you people? I started to watch your past variety shows like yunhanam etc, i felt really bad. Every time i question myself: Why did i not find out more about you guys in the past? Why did i not begin this journey with you since 25th May 2008? All these questions just keep coming into my mind. Even up till now…
Before things get emotional, i’m really thankful that i got to see you on 10th Sept 2011 in Singapore, it was one of the best nights of my life. Again, sorry for not knowing you all well enough, i felt like a complete failure after the concert because i didnt know so many of your songs. But, this time, i will not be like the past. In 21 days i will see you all again, and this will never be erased from my memory, ever.

Yep, there it is, SHINee’s 4th anniversary. It doesn’t matter if you’re a fan since debut or later, I think we can all see the changes and the progress they’ve made, be it as a group or individually, as people. It all started as an awkward rookie group of young boys, but with the time each of them got their own images that make SHINee so special as a whole.
I think the most frequent question fans from any fandom hear, is; “why would you spend so much time on people that don’t even know you exist?”. Well, as for me, the answer is simple. Sometimes, we just need something to get us through the day. We all feel like we’re having a rough time at some point of our lives, and we all need something that makes us smile so we can shake it off. And that’s what SHINee is for me, the relief at the end of the day.
So, thank you SHINee for another amazing year, another year of music, laughter, progress and positivity. And the best is yet to come. Even if one day I’ll move on, I surely won’t have any regrets, and take every minute with me. Thank you.
